| With the sheriff on my trail, I head to the desert. A solo trek through Bull Valley Gorge and Willis Creek. I hadn't hiked alone for a while and thought it was due. Far removed from the rest of the world, the Escalante is one of the most dramatic and rugged areas in the southwest. Glad to be back. |
